WDKA x Codarts Collaboration Day
On the 25th of April, as part of the Collaboration Day Committee, I helped organise the WDKA x Codarts Collab Day. On this day, students from the Willem de Kooning art Academy and Codarts conservatory got to share, move, think, perform, design, learn and network together with students from other disciplines. The day was centred around the question what will the future of art practices look like? And how do you imagine the future of (art)education?
The day was an exploration of what it could look like if these two academies worked together. Instead of focussing on their differences, we looked at their similarities in their craftsmanship. We designed communal exercises and workshops that allowed space for the creativity and input from different disciplines.

The day was filled with different moments that allowed interaction and collaboration between the students. In six workshops, guided by students specialised in different disciplines, the students could explore, create and think together, while trying out a different medium then their own. At the end of the day, they presented the works to a team of organisers from both academies, to present a try out what collaboration between them could look like.
