Daily Makeup Practice
For over a year, my daily makeup practice has evolved into a mindful morning ritual. Doing my makeup helps me set my intentions for the day and reflect on my mood. Going outside with 'unconventional' makeup has been a personal journey that has helped me gain confidence in my own expression. On top of that I have been able to define my own gender fluidity through makeup despite conflicting societal perception of femininity.

Self portraits
Since a young age I've been fascinated with makeup and face paint as a way of expressing myself and experimenting with identity. Putting on a persona or a look has allowed me to embody certain feelings, document them and then process and letting go of them as I am taking off the makeup. Doing at home photoshoots has helped me work through gender dysphoria and emotional setbacks in a safe, private setting.

Remakes
I look for inspiration in my surroundings, such as forests and fashion, but visiting art museums has always sparked my interest the most. Some of the first makeup looks I did were recreating famous portraits, where I first realised my fascination for alienating the face.
