‘A Call for Care’ was the post-graduation show for the 2023 graduates of the Willem de Kooning Academy, created by and for graduates. The Buitenplaats opened its doors to the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend on the 16th and 17th of September for the exhibition. ‘A Call For Care’  was inspired by the works of the featured artists and organised together with Sadie Girigorie and Sevgi Tan. 

Buitenplaats Brienenoord is a ‘rehearsal space for the future’ where artists, performers, makers and thinkers come together on the island of Brienenoord to create hopeful futures. On Buitenplaats Brienenenoord, the artists will exhibit, show and perform their work, in an intimate setting, grounded by their connection to the island.
