Self-Portraits

2023 - Daily Makeup
For the last three years, doing my makeup has been my mindful morning ritual. Just as some people write morning pages, I set my intentions for the day through vibrant, colorful looks—bringing my inside world to the outside.
2022 - Breaking The Surface

Breaking the Surface is a one-hour durational performance, repeated daily over the course of eight days. Each day, I perform with a different material covering my face, which is slowly peeled, torn, or rubbed off throughout the hour. The piece explores themes of identity and perception, inviting the audience to question what they see and how they interpret the changing layers. The exhibition took place in Gallery Taxi, Bergen, Norway, May 2022.
2019 - Face Me
Face Me is a photo series in which I attached various household items, like post-its, yarn, and skewers, to my face. The work was inspired by the self-portrait series of fine artist Levi van Veluw. The series was exhibited at the Red Floor Gallery in Rotterdam, exploring themes of identity and the abstraction of perception.
2018 - Remakes

I recreated famous paintings using face paint, transforming my face into living canvases. This series explores the intersection of portraiture and artistic tradition, blending my own identity with iconic works of art.
